      ram air intake

This of course is my wife's car and I'm always messing around with my 94 Chevy CK, then we found out we were having twins and needed more of a family vehicle so I sold that and got a s10 blazer. So now I'm messing with the little car and doing stuff here and there. The air box tab on one of the corners where the screw holds the lid down was broken do I was going to see about a new lid or wholde box . $86 of my money isn't going to go to that, then the hose was cracked and that alone was $38. So I got a ram air intake for like $37 with free shipping from eBay, they quality is there, but its not a 10 min install. The filter would rub the a/c line(eventually causing a hole in it) and the tube rubs the strut housing so you have to take a hammer and hit the intake tube to dent it so it don't run and make a rattle, then the mounthing bracket, little cheap aluminum live you bend to fit and need another hose clamp to mouth it. But other then the mods it looks great works great and sound a lot different.

The what get in the way?? And yeah I've got to get some this week. The dirt is from several years of build up from my brother-in-law (bought it new) then mother-in-law the. To my wife but I am getting some. I'd like to find one of the pre filters with the elastic to slip over it. But the end needs to be closed. This end is like a "o" the outer edge is like the air filer and in the center of the "o" is and inset air filter. Its a little different I work on small engines for a living. Golf carts go carts mowers four Wheeler utvs weedeaters. The whole 9 yards and I've never seen a air filter like this. I believe its more for appearance then anything else.

Its for sound and it sounds great! But the sensor that connects to intake its touching the ac line and almost gets pushed out.

Yeah. And hmmm. Have to checked the mounting bolt that holds the line tight? Is the bolt gone from that. I don't think it should be near that close. Could you possibly plastic a pic?

Yeah but someone on the fourm said the aveo dont have a massair flow. But never the less there is two things that connect to the intake one a tube and the other a sensor. If I really have to provide a picture than you dent install ur intake and im waisting my time.
