      intake

      hey i'm new to the site and i was wondering if cold air intakes affect warranty for the car at all.

      use search. look for magnuson moss warranty act.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      In short, no.

      Long answer is: If the failure of an aftermarket intake affects the performance of a warranted item, GM is not under liability to repair the item.

      Basically, if your aftermarket item breaks a warranted item (eg. filter falls off and you suck up something through the intake), GM has no liability to repair the engine.
      Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
