i do mainly 75-85 on my turnpike trips...i think my increase from the 31 and below mpg is because of how is stay around 3000rpms when accelerating.

If I had the cash now, I would get one that's for sure. As for mileage, all highway in my Wave gets me 35 mpg at about 70mph average. Can't wait to get my vacuum gauge installed.

WOW...I've gone a week and a half and I'm only through half a tank when usually I am down to a 1/4. This slowing down sucks, but it's saving me money..LOL

I'll be filling the tank Thursday and have the mpg total for everyone...

      Re: Aveosam's MPG Thread

i used my neo today to pull back more fuel being used and went 60 mph down 294, must say, the needle barely moved. also took my time when i got to residential streets, keeping the revs below 2500 if possible and im sure i was pissin people off as they would go flyin passed me in their SUV's and i would just chuckle. as for gettin u guys my mpg reading, i had a 1/4 tank and put 10$ in it which bumped me to over 1/2 tank so i cant get you guys an accurate reading at the moment. but when i fill next, i will begin my mpg assessments and see if i can beat you all! do i have an unfair advantage with my neo? muwahahahaha dunno if i can beat y2daniel tho.

To monitor intake vacuum. If vacuum is too low, it means you're pressing too much on the right pedal, thus lowering your mpg.

      Re: Aveosam's MPG Thread

i usually use 1/4 tank a day when goin to work, mind u i drive like a bat outta hell, but since ive pulled the amt of fuel used back, and driven nicely, i havent even used 1/4 tank in 2 days, hhhmmmm saving money???? yeh, i think so, now if i could only force myself to do this 100% of the time.
