if the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump, then how the hell do we change the filter? i need to do some research and see if there are any external filters.

Case 5: Normal week of driving up to school and back. A little disappointed at this on you will see why after my next case.

      Miles: 196.3
      Gallons: 6.054
      MPG:32.42484

Case 6: I thought this was going to be horrible because I was romping it on acceleration and going like 85-90 on the highway because we were way late to our soccer game, but suprisingly its better than my new cautious way of driving

      Miles: 163
      Gallons: 4.9
      MPG: 33.2653

      Re: Aveosam's MPG Thread

im gunnin for super gas mileage. im hopin at least lower 40s for both city and hwy when i go to fill up this tank next.

i have found that neutral is sweet when coming to a stop or goin downhill and that hills are my worst/best friend.

Going up hills, don't give it more gas, just let the speed drop. Going downhill, let the speed go up and don't let off the gas.

I've installed my vacuum gauge today, surprising the amount of info you can get out of one. Pretty easy install. Car idles at 21 inches of mercury and going down the highway at 75 mph, it goes up to about 13. Making charts soon to find best mpg speed
