It's not the dimmer, My dimmer works. The jvc i'm running lets me adjust the display and button colors for each mode, day, and night. and It works. I wil get a picture of the connector today and show you what i'm talking about. Just means fighting with it to get it back in again. I will also locate the dimmer wire to compare. A pin readout I found said it was the REMOCON Ground. But that didn't label the wire color.

your dimmer works? so when the radio is untouched, and you turn the headlights on the radio lights dim? and then when you twist the light adjustment on the dash, your radio gets brighter and dimmer? All from the cars oem switch.
when I turn on the head lights the radio dims, Doesn't adjust with the light adjustment though, is that what you meant when you said for the dimmer?
