      turbo

I've stumbled across this you tube video, and they're running a turbo in this aveo. I really like how it sounds so i was wondering if anyone has any info regarding turbos and aveos....

Well, not impossible. Just not something many have done.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

impossible in the usa at least, no one wants to turbo the 1.6, and any turbo shop laughs when they find out it is not an "import"

Its not that hard to do yourself. You just need a way to bolt up the turbo and retune the engine. The rest is easy.

neither of those are hard either if your not concerned about "oem" just throw standalone and a custom manifold..

the only issue i have is for the money, and the fact i would lose the ability to pass emissions, i could swap in an oem turbo engine from another car and run their management and have their aftermarket support for emissions friendly tuning...

Not a big fan of turbos. I'd just as soon drop in a Northstar V8. And before anyone says anything about space...

      There's no replacement for displacement.
      - 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 - LQ1 3.4L DOHC 24 valve semi-hemi V6, 210 HP, 215 ft-lbs of torque, 4T60e 4 speed automatic with O/D.... 123,000+ miles. Slowly resto-modding it.
