      Can you Say Turbo

OK here it is just about finished is my engine swap and turbo install. Currently I am waiting on a throttle body from a Suzuki Forenza to complete the parts that I need to get the car started. Right now I am pluming in the pipes from the turbo to the intercooler and into the throttle body. The engine came from 05 forenza and the gearbox for a Suzuki Reno the engine went in without any problems. For fuel management I am going to use a AEM piggyback unit that I have ready to splice into the factory harness. My plan is to first run the car without the turbo just to be sure that newly transplanted engine works correctly and that the computer does not through any codes. I next plan to slice in the AEM and upgrade then injectors 31 pound injectors. I will then put in the turbo and start the tuning part of this project I have posted some pics of the current stage of the project.

damn, you would have just been ballin with the 2.0 swap(i think the forenza is a 2.0) but a turboed 2.0 in the aveo-thats tits! nice work!
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

What motor mounts did you use? Let us know what it takes to get the 2.0 in there. Keeping the mpg of the aveo and adding the additional power from the 2.0 could make the aveo a MUCH better car.

The engine is a 2.0 and yes the manifold is from Boshart. To mount the 2.0 engine into the aveo did not take much you did not need to change any motor mounts. I will just slip in with no problems.

Please give us details! Maybe somewhat of a write-up? Or at least things that went super easy vs things that were trouble spot

you've got to be sh!tting me, it just slips in with the original aveo motor mounts....maybe its just my eyes but the engine looks a little crooked in the second pic....def staying tune on this, just for the reason that subachad mentioned
