      Re: Header

when you say cat delete, does that mean the cat converter has to be removed

      Re: Header

it usually means the header is the length of the original header and cat.

so this header bolts directly to the mid pipe. and there is no spot of the cat.

      Re: Header

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but if you remove the catconverter, what do you do with the oxygen sensor? Is there a bung on the header for it?

i can't say about about this particular header, but they typically have the O2 bung for the front oxygen sensor.

the second one might be there. but you will probably get a cat efficiency code unless you space to O2 out or run a mil eliminator.

      Re: Header

Yes. There is a screw thread for you to screw in the oxygen sensor, no need to cut or weld. Beening using exactly same header for 3 years. Occasionally engine check light comes on for one or two trip every 1-2 months, but its harmless and will disappear after some time. There is no power cut or fuel cut due to this engine check light. I have a OBDII scanner, so once the engine check light comes on while driving, I just delete the fault code while driving. And its back to normal.

      Re: Header

      Hey!

Dont use just any header for your car, remember there is a lot of r&d that goes into those headers.

Each header will be designed with the correct width of each pipe, how long it needs to be and if it needs to be 4-1 or 4-2-1! Plus it has been designed with your engine in mind, cam duration, valve opening etc.

This determines how much torque you will gain and where in da rev range it will work.

So only use specific header for aveo or ecotec 1.6 16v.

      So did I miss something?
Currently, in America, there are NONE.
Go to Singapore if you want, I probably will.

SO, how did that D16 Header work?
