      Re: Header

i think both of those would fit the same.. but neither of them are a direct bolt on to the aveo. but after the modification needed, either could work.

      Re: Header

at least cutting off, and then welding a flange to the where it meets the head. possibly bending and reshaping the tubes to match the new flange. and then if the shape of the header causes any interference, in the rest of the engine compartment you will need to move, or adjust for that. possibly need to change the connection at the exhaust to match up.

i think its like making a custom header, but you are using this header for "donor" pipes instead of cutting and bending your own. but you should be able to get away with the rest of it too.. so its probably just the flange at the head.

      Re: Header

holy crap dont spend 300 dollars on a header that will need to be hacked up....I've got a d16 header sitting here in my room that is good quality off ebay for 50-60 bucks shipped. Also look into header from the 1.8L from other gmdat cars

      Re: Header

A header only cost $200+ in Singapore. If you want, I can have it shipped. Its direct bolt on. No mod needed. If you guys order in bulk, it will save on shipping. Or else shipping is the one that kills due to the big size of box needed.

      Re: Header

none of those will fit. the give away (beyond the fact they come in pairs) is that they are block huggers for fitting between the engine and frame rail.

      Re: Header

      Shipping will be $80US.
So a set inclusive of shipping will be $350US.

It will joing direct to your flexible pipe, meaning its a CAT-DELETE long 4-1 header. Direct fit. No cutting or welding needed. Direct bolt on. No modification needed for aveo.
