forenza 2.0 engine swap ?

hopefully im not asking a dumb question here..... so i have been reading some old theads about the suzuki forenza 2.0 and from what understand it wouldnt be to hard to swap it in an 04. my question is what would be the hardest obstacle to overcome if were to try this? and would it work for an auto?

I would think you would want the matching auto tranny (ease the process, might make wiring more difficult).

But a swap is a swap is a swap. It will go in, you need to transfer most of the engine components for it to be perfect.

As long as the ecu will communicate with the automatic, and is set up with the same number of gears or what have you, it will work for an auto or manual. most of the time wiring is the hardest part of a swap, if you know it will fit. Otherwise, I would say emissions issues.
