Will an engine listed as fitting an '06/'07/'08 Aveo fit an '05? What would be the difference? Found a really good deal on one and I'm in a bind... (can you guess what happened based on my other threads?? LOL)

As you found, you can definitely throw one of those engines into your car without too much hassle.
