Ok I jump my car with my brothers truck and starter, started smoking. took it out and tested it, gear comes forward but does not spin. So i have to order one takes 2 days to come in. Im praying this is the problem. I will let you guys know. Got a question? Starter not cover under warranty because I took it out right?

ur warranty is done cus u ran it thru water with an aftermarket intake. revert the intake back to stock and they may cover your entire motor...
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

hey Todd, i think Mike may be right. Can you replace intake to stock and let the dealership worry about it, except I'm not sure how you would explain why your car doesnt run?

They can send oil samples to be analyzed...they would probably find water contamination even in the new oil.

      Re: flooded engine!

Well, when the starter comes in ill put it on. Hopefully that was the problem. If not gonna take it to my mechanic and have them deal with it. Got some money in the bank and also got rebate check. so that'll help also.

      thanks everyone for ideas

      Todd

P.S. ill keep you guys updated.
