Hey, dont bring me into this.

If you want hids, put em in, understand the risks you are running tho. If you dont want hids, then dont put em in. Its simple.

This thread was about a member trying to help people out by showing a kit that is in his opinion, decent for the money. Lets try to get back to that subject or just leave it alone.
You know what they say about opinions Mike.....

I should have known better. I just now looked at the profiles of the haters and they are kids...18..20..you guys can't even buy alcohol yet. Are you still virgins too?

In my line of work we deal with data driven decisions, based on facts and empirical evidence, not opinions, especially from a kid. I don't think misinformation should be put out without the facts. Like you said Mike, if they do it knowingly, that is on them, but they need to know. And the fact is, the lighting in a retofit is worse that OEM.

Some reputable forums I frequent will not even allow you to post something that is illegal or unethical, such as how to bypass a safety feature of a vehicle. Hmmmm.wonder why...Liability? Like I said before, be careful because even claiming ignorance is not an excuse, and your insurance company will not honor a claim if they find the lights to have any effect on the accident...

Can anyone argue what I am saying on a mature level. Not name calling, not "I don't care", "F the world" "ME ME ME", but with facts. Show me the improvement. Show me the statistics. Show me the tests.
what line of work do you do?

Wow I can't believe I was off switching over to XP from Vista and I get called moron7 by Aveorob... and I actually respected you. Wow man... oh btw the whole alcohol and virgin thing was a little uncalled for, but I am going to look passed it. I cannot believe someone could be so disrespectful over the web of all things, really can you actually argue that intensely? It's the internet man.

If you don't like them that's cool, I respect that, just no need to disrespect people themselves in the process. Keep it to the H.I.Ds not to the personal attacks lol.

      Re: Very Nice Cheap H.I.D.'s

I feel I must post one final time in this thread. I took a hiatus to let this cool off ( not that there is much activity anyway), but need to clarify a few things.

First, if you read my past posts, I have never done anything other than try to help other folks on this board out, if I can. I do not speak on topics that I do not have any knowlwdge of, but if I do, I offer the information. I am no auto expert, but have some experiences to share.

That said, if you read this thread from the beginning, and read my first post, I simply agreed with another member and offered some factual information, take it or leave it. I was called out by manorness7, who said my post was ranting and to go learn something and come back. When I did (and I guess I went overboard), I guess wolfman felt it was an attack on him because he started the thread and he began with what I felt was contradictive statements such as I need them for better light so I don't hit a drunk eskimo, but then says he knew 12K was the lowest light output. Then states that he doesn't care if he blinds other drivers for a few seconds.
I did not draw first blood, nor did I pick a fight, I was called out, basically told I don't know what I am talking about, and responded.

Now after all of that rambling, I will offer my apologies to ALL board members, especially manorness7 AND wolfman. I stepped out of line and made comments that were not condusive to the betterment of the Aveo community. For that I sincerly offer my apologies, and will refrain from that conduct in the future. I will try to only offer constructive information for people to make informed decisions.

      I'M SORRY

There's nothing wrong about being passionate about your knowledge, you just have to pick your battles. No problem, I'll try to contain my temper a little better in the future...I'm a bit of a short fuse these days.
