Highest Mileage Aveo (how many miles / km on yours now?)

I bought my 2007 aveo hatchback 5 speed with 34k for $7000 in 2009. Its at 125k now. Only major work was a new rack and pinion from an accident in a snow storm. Car was loaned to a friend momentarily, not a good decision lol. Ive done oil changes every 4-5000 miles. Changed valve cover gasket. Timing belt and water pump. Serpintine belt. And intake manifold twice. I recently just started fixing her up. Will start a build thread in the near future.

What kind of oil are you using? Synthetic blend? Synthetic? or just plain old conventional?

Ive always used full synthetic, why do you ask? not sure if that worked or not. But this is a photo from when I changed my valve cover gasket

Haha just caught something from my previous post. I didnt mean I changed my intake manifold lol stupid me. I meant throttle body. Thats what I get for letting my a!! Overload my mouth

My car currently is at 142, 000. I got it with 137, 000 miles on it.

my car is at 115k its a 05 got it with 98k in feb so if anyone drives alot its me. ive done a 1600 mile round trip to nj from ga twice. north corlina 6 times thats 5000 milies and pretty much all over the eastern usa. only prob so far was engin mounts broke and cracked the transmission. dealer had a 50k power train warnty. they replaced the trans. new cluch. new fly wheel. and someother small stuff.. 6 grand they paid lol... ill have 200k by this time next year for sure.

Just hit 160K miles on my 2009 stock sedan with barely a radio for options. Overall not really any major issues. Sometimes wish it had AC

Is your thermostat housing plastic or metal? If plastic, consider a replacement. My plastic housing split with no warning.

05' hatchback 197,000 miles with only a slight tap in the top end, going to see what we can do about that. i run high mileage valvoline and change the oil every 3-5000 miles. Also a timing belt kit from gates every 2 years regardless of mileage and new water pump and serpantine belt each time. replaced tstat housing with aluminum and replaced radiator and valve cover gasket and thats about it other than spark plugs and wires. It does now need rubber parts replaced and struts and shocks so will start working on that soon too. It is currently under way of getting a new paint job probably custom(we paint) aqua green metallic, thinking about a 2 tone.
