Angry Crankshft Bearing Chev Aeo LT 2006 ..Help needed

I have reconditioned the cylinder head on my Aveo and it sounds like there is a noisy bearing on the crankshaft. I am not sure what work is necessary to remove the engine to get it to an engineering shop. Any advice or engine manual would be greatly appreciated

if its the crankshaft, you dont need to tear the engine out, you pull the timing belt, and valve cover, then the camshafts can come out.

Thanks for your comment. removal of camshaft has been done but it sounds like a bearing under the piston..slapping noise

what had happened to require the new head?

did you do a compression test?

if you really need the rod to crankshaft bearings, you might be able to fish them in by dropping the oil pan, then taking them apart and putting them back together.

if the bearing for the block need replaced, I have seen a mechanic do it in the same style once. Not sure how long they lasted. its not exactly proper install procedure.

It sounds like youve put a lot of money into the engine recently though.

I dont think the oil changes were done by garage doing the servicing. Camshaft ceased without any noises or oil pressure warnings..maybe the rod to crankshaft bearing ceasing also contributed to drop in oil pressure and thereby causing camshaft to cease..Im hoping someone on this forum would have a service repair manual.

Yes i have put a lot of money into this engine...thanks again for your input...
