Volkswagen will not let you down my friend. I've always been a die-hard VW fan. Get a 1.8T, you won't regret it. I'm glad your headache is starting to fade lol.

Yeah, buying new cars is not good, im paying 21k for my aveo, but any new car you buy, they will rap you hard on interest rates

is the GTI's VR6 2.0 any good? i read it was like driving a lambo but hundreds of thousands cheaper. i got a friend who is a VW fanatic, but i never get to drive his car's personally.

The VR6's are pretty badass cuz it's a V6, but you can make a lot more power for a lot less money out of a 1.8T. You could bore it to a 2.0T and put a big turbo kit on it w/ front mount intercooler, intake and exhaust and stomp 80% of your friends. And if you wanted AWD without spending 30K+ for an R32 you can swap an Audi TT rear axle and drivetrain into it. The possibilities are endless. check out vwvortex.com.

what year vw are you looking to get into? vr6 and 1.8T are two very different animals.

if you shop around you can find a 06 gti for around 11k but it will have some miles. but its a 2.0T fsi, independent rear suspension.

I loved my TT and my R32. if you get a mk5 r32 you could find one for @ 18K easily..?

(the mk5 r32 came only in automatics, and for that reason i would only buy another mk4)
