Getting code p0705 on my 2008 Pontiac Wave. When i look it up it says Park/Neutral Position Switch. It's seem to be starting in park and neutral but not the other gears which is normal, one of the symptons says it may start in the wrong gears which it's not doing. The light's on the shifter don't work but they have not worked in a long time. It did however act very strangely earlier. I left the driveway and while accelerating the rps were going up but i was barely able to accelerate. Turning the engine off and back on fixed it.
Would it likely be the Park/Neutral Position Switch that's bad?
