      Leaking Antifreeze

I haven't quite got a chance to get under my car, but I came out of school and a puddle of antifreeze.

Put some more in, turned it on, and it looks like it is leaking from above the oil pan, not exactly sure where, but it's there somewhere.

I was told it could possibly be the water pump, anyone else have any guesses of to what it is?

Assuming you've already cleared the thermostat housing off your list, wp is my only idea.

A water pump leak on your '06 wouldn't be dripping from the oil pan. A WP leak would be channeled to the bottom of the timing belt cover, and would puddle around 6-8 inches away from the inside of the passenger side wheel. As mentioned in the previous post, if you still have the original plastic T-stat housing in the vehicle, that's almost certainly the source of the leak. But if that has already been replaced, the leak might be coming from either one of the 2 hoses attached to the T-stat housing, or the seal of the housing to the block. Perhaps a hose, but that's less likely because hoses are built to last a long time these days.

I'm a derp, I can see from your pictures that Fenix already had an aluminium t-stat housing!
Try taking a tissue and following any seals you can reach!

It's coming from around the underneath of intake manifold in that area..
Whenever I can get into a garage, I'll checkout the timing belt cover.

We want to believe these DIYs are going to be easy, when the reality is they often turn out to be a PITA. But glad to hear you were able to fix it for minimal $ anyway. Were you able to determine why the hose split or cracked? Hoses typically last a long time these days. Do you think there is something about where or how this hose is installed that contributes to failure, or did it just appear to be a materials quality issue?

I would just say a quality issue, but this car has never seen a winter before this year, so it's possible that it just got too hot then too cold, I'll post a picture of the hose later on, it was cracked around the hose clamp, and a tiny pin hole a inch away from cracks, this was all next to the outlet under the intake manifold.
