      leaking oil....

as most of you know, i hydrolocked my engine 2 weeks ago, but now i got the engine running....and in that process i flushed my motor, drained the flush, added some oil, drove about 500 miles, and drained that oil, and added some new oil......but now it seems that my oil plug is leaking.

Ive heard that you have to replace a crush washer or something of that sort on the oil plug after each oil change.

Is this true? Why else would it be leaking from the drain plug?

      yup.

Might also be a good idea to pull the pan and replace the gasket.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

yeah, happens to mine everytime I change it. Go to Advance auto parts or somewhere and get some new crush rings. Bigger is better, I bought smaller ones and it still leaked so I had to go back, just a warning.

ya, i was told that by a dealership as well. the lil gasket should be cheap enough, but thats the reason why i bring my car to the dealership to get the oil changed...

but with ur car in its current state, that may not be the wisest idea lol...
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

you don't have to change it everytime, but you do have to change it once in a while, as per the gm service website.

I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
