Has anyone been able to post any pictures of the finished product of using any of these bushings?

I have seen the blow up of the parts diagram but what I am looking for is a picture of the finished product and what it looks like with the other bushings in in the axle and if any modifications had to be done to either the new bushings or the axle.

I don't think there are any mods to do. Here is something almost exactly like the Aveo rear axle beam.

Finished with my bushings, they work great!

I finally finished my 2008 Aveo5 with these bushings, they seem to working very well. Once I was able to remove the old bushings and sleeves they went in just like a normal one would. I did have to taper the end of the new bushing sleeve just a bit with a grinder to be able get it started into the axle but once it started it went very well. I did both bushings and I am very pleased with the results. These new bushings seem to be built better than the original ones so I hope they hold up a lot longer (the original ones went bad with only 29K miles). I tried to attach some pictures to this message but it doesnt seem to like that so if anyone wants some pictures of the bushings in the axle let me know and give me your email and I will send them to you. Here is the link to bushings that I used Your Parts Search Returned 1 Part(s) Paid about 45 for two bushings and shipping, a whole lot better than over $500 for a rear axle because a couple of $15 bushings went bad, way to go GM, good to see you are taking care of your customers like that.

Hi, I have to replace the bushings for my '04 sedan and I wanted to hear from the members that did this job. Which bushings did you use, the VW 1J0501541C's or the one off eBay (which I think are from the Vibe)? Were the eBay parts a perfect fit with no modification or did these need to be sanded down as others have done with the ones from Autohauz? I'm kind of at a loss as to which part I should get so I'd appreciate input from anyone who has bought either of these parts.

      Thanks!

i would do the vw ones personally, cheaper. the sanding is really just to get them started, you could do it with either set. Makes it easier when your not using a press.
