      It has nothing to do with the car being new. The fuel economy is not going to improve as the car ages.

      That sucks. Have you gotten any results from your efforts to get an update from GM?

      I have responded to them and left voice messages to the rep they assigned to my complaint, but my phone calls were not returned. It looks like they are vying for the 'worst customer service of the decade award'. That gave me ample reason to send additional complaint letters to those higher up in the chain of command recently, addressing their non-responsive disregard of my initial complaint. (It appears that GM has more head honchos in its ranks than the US military has generals in its Army.)

      I expect a courteous and timely response from them. I shall persevere.
