dude, denis is correct, 4 L/100 km is 58 mpg... what are you smokin'?? Aveosam is right about you...
the metric fuel economy numbers are inverted i.e. volume per distance, instead of distance per volume.
So you have to take you 235 mpg and divide by 4, which gives you your 58.

I thought about cluttering this thread with a "pwned" or "fail" picture but then ya might be a bit sensitive to cluttery pictures taking up thread space! jfwy

that would be KPG not MPG you need 4 Liters = 1 Gallon & 1 KM = 0.6213712 Miles or
      1 liters/100 km = 235.2145833 miles/gallon(US)

Or you can use this http://www.onlineconversion.com/fuel_consumption.htm On Line Conversions

Sorry Dude but you're math is way off just as i thought but if you ask Aveoscam I am way to dumb to know that!
thats what i used, ok who is smoking crack?
      4l per 100km= 94.6kpg=58.8mpg
You are smoking crack thats who is smoking crack! you need to Fill the tank Full start the trip counter drive till the light turns on to get more gas you take the new tank of gas amount and devide it by the trip counter that is how you get the MPG like my 04 sadan gets 32mpg on the highway and about 27-28mpg on the street. So put the Crack pipe down and go find out the real MPG on you're car. Dumbass!
You did WHAT? to your Aveo? HAHAHAHAHA

not really wanting to get involed in this epic fight of pretty much everyone against B1rdbrain but it just seems like this arguement is about two different things. one is the conversion of the imperial measurement of fuel economy of Miles/Gallon to the metirc one of Litres/100km, and how to accuratly measure said fuel economy. so chill everyone.

First of all, one Canadian gallon is 4.54Liters and one US gallon is 3.78L...so you guys are comparing appes to oranges.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

ok so wat units are we using here? us gallons or canadian gallons? im sure the way denis did it doesn't make it comparable to what us U.S. owners are thinking...i heard of U.S owners getting ~40+mpg , nothing in the 50 range so common sense leads me to believe the math is being done in a way that isnt comparable to how we calculate our mpg in the US. But i'd like to take this oppertunity to point out how birdbrain change the subject of his posts once he got pwned in his calculation, same thing he does everytime he gets pwned

no its cool if you did it, but its just hard to believe you got in the high 50's for mpg when the highest I have ever heard of was the 40's, so that means your getting 10+mpg then the best that has talked about which is a big jump in mpg...anything around 5mpg more could have been believable but 10 plus sounds too good to be true and you know what they say about that...if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. now your math for the conversion of 100KM/4L to 58.8 miles per US gal is good but I am just wondering how you came up with 100KM/4L?
