Oil in the air intake

I have a 2005 aveo and i recently changed the valve cover gasket and the pcv valve and now i am noticing there is oil in my air intake manifold and the car smokes like no other so i am wondering if any can help me figure this out

So there had been no smoke until you did that work, and then it started right after you finished?
