      Which air intake?

What kind of air intake is the best for 04 aveo ?
And what kind of brand ? Does it really increase horsepower
and fuel efficiency? Just wondering from people who already have
      air intakes.

i cant say if it helps fuel efficiency or not, its been kind of mixed in the reviews in that aspect.

most of us are cheap and running the "chromeintakes" off ebay, it works well, but had some lacking pieces in the mounting..

it definitely feels a lot faster, but i cant say dyno numbers.

I found that the fuel efficiency went down as cruising was hard and acceleration was more enjoyable. The one issue I ran into was making a hole for the temperature sensor and finding the right combination to make it around the curve from the intake manifold to the front of the engine compartment. With the cruising, (I have a manual trans) the car felt a little jerky especially when the engine was not under much load. Im guessing its either the gas pedal resolution or the fuel injector shut off point. Even with this, the car sounds awesome and definitely feels like it has more power. I just bought another type of intake where the filter is in the wheel well. Ill post any type of gains once I get that installed.

Thanks for the info. Ive just installed an apexi intake and definitely felt more power and sounds
much better. But sometimes id have to hit the pedal much harder than normal to feel
some speed usually after i shift gear from N to D.
