Why did you buy an Aveo?

I got tired of getting screwed by the Toyota dealer's service department and their "take it or leave it, someone else will buy it tomorrow if you don't buy it today" sales department. After one too many problems with the service department trying to **** me over for big dollars, I traded my Prius for an Aveo. I do miss the 50+ MPG, but the dollars I was saving in gas I was putting into the pockets of the dealer. I also traded my Camry for a Malibu. I love the nimblness of the Aveo, its great turning radius and its ability to fit into tiny parking spaces in New York City. I don't like being half blown off the road by 18 wheelers on the interstates though.

I see more aveos than rx-8's...

That's cuz RXs chug a quart of oil for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If they only had that body-style with a v6 turbo from the Mazdaspeed 6... drool.

haha, they dont chug that much. i have owned an rx7 and rotorys are the ****. the 13b engine does have some reliability issues, but you got to pay to play. a mazdaspeed 6 cant rev to 11k. try driving an fd rx-7 with a lightweight flywheel. closest thing to riding a jap bike.

My Tempo was literally falling apart, so I traded it on a car that worked. I went through 4 'optional' cars before they took me to my Aveo, which was being repaired when I saw it. (no cosmetic damage...)

Which Tempo did you have? 2DR or 4DR?
I had the two door, but at the time wanted the 4 door....(it was rarer from what I had heard) it was a good little car...

my mom and several of my friends had gone through tempos over the years... impossible to kill those things... short of driving it into an immovable object.
