holy crap that bike looks sweet. I wish i didnt have to buy a new computer for college (+$2000) because I would def spend it on that. I do think its funny that it has a smaller displacement engine then my quad, but im sure it ways alot less. the only prob with sports bikes is that you have to run premium, but with 80mpg and 3g's you cant complain

After getting rid of the FJ1100...

      A Busa or a V-rod sounds good.

Maybe just an 883 Sportster for mpg.

i would love to have another bike, but i haven't ridden since i was 15.

and now my wife, and mother of my 2 kids, would forbid it.

i sure would be nice in the summer though since a have a 140 mile round trip commute everyday.

      Re: Gasoline Strike

The gas is down to $1.90/gal here in Panama. Had to get rid of the AMG a while back when we were over $4/gal. 95 octane & 12 MPG. 70$ every 4-5 days....I loveed my 'Benz, but damn. We sold it & went the taxi way. That got old quick so now we are picking up the Aveo.
Now we are looking at "for now until the prices start to climb again" filling a fuel tank for under $30...HELL YEAH. Last time I paid that little was back in 2001 with our SSEi with premium fuel(but my heavy foot with that car...whew I blew through ALOT of fuel).

garrison1..where abouts on OK are ya? I was stationed at Altus AFB back in 99-02.

      Re: Gasoline Strike

Gas prices are not going to stay low.

Opec keeps cutting production, and because the US sent the rest of the world into recession worse than our own, the US dollar is strong again. (Not too long ago Canadian money was almost equal to US currency, now it is back to @ 80%)

Although i do not know how soon things will get back to normal. and i don't "believe" we had as much of a recession as everyone claims. eventually gas prices will rise back to where they were. Predictions have changed though, only claiming to go as high as $5 a gallon in 3 years now instead of $7.
