Disable Day-Time Running Lights?

yeah, i started to think i wasn't going to get them.

yeah, they're off. i did notice the handbrake way to shut them off stop working. i don't know what that means. and i think the car is from 2007 but it is an 08.

help please...

Hmmm, Idk. My 09 you just pull the fuse on the side of the dash. I was pretty sure the older aveos had a relay. See if yours is like this: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=54 Hope that works.

i looked, didn't see that. is there a reason the handbrake wouldn't shut the lights off?

Well, if you pulled that fuse then it's not letting power through to trigger the relay. There has to be some sort of relay you can unplug for DRL's. I think in some of them the little black unit may also have a yellow sticker on it. Do you have an 08 sedan?

that is the difference. i am not sure of what the differences are 100% but your cut out will be in the shifter, not in the ebrake. the fuse should still work though? although, it might keep power from somewhere else in an automatic harness it might come through the ignition and go straight to the neutral safety switch?
