Good day! I have been in the forum in quite awhile now. I am driving an Aveo 08 Sedan. I have an issue with my shift linkage. One of the ball plastic locks fell off and needs replacement. I couldn't find a replacement for the missing part instead I will buy a whole new shift linkage assembly. My question is how do I take out the old shift linkage? I know there is an easier way but I couldn't see how to take it off easily because there are hoses blocking on my sight and if I go underneath the car, i still do not know how to take it out. I am not sure if it is bolted or pinned. All I know is the linkage rod that is bolted which I can unscrew easily. The whole linkage assembly is a pain in the ass to remove. Someone here had the same experience with me? Please let me know. Help is much appreciated. Thank you.
