      Just bought new brakes

Well my car now has just over 92000 km's and still has the stock front pads and rotors. They started making some noise since they are prety used up but they still brake very well.

So i went to ebay and i just bought the slotted/drilled rotors and pads from R1concepts. I've heard from a few ppl on here that they are pretty good. When they get here in about 2 weeks (damn echeck) ill take some pics and post em up.

When I got mine, I was warned about them cracking in the winter months NEM. something about moisture getting into the slots and drills and freezing...I guess we'll find out this winter...

I've been through a winter on mine, no problems yet... maybe spray them down with brake cleaner once in a while? Pretty sure it acts as a water dispersant.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

Braking becomes choppy... the car will noticeably "glug" when coming to a halt... it's so annoying I milled an outgassing slot in my race pads because it was terribly annoying to drive with

I haven't noticed anything like that at all and I've had two differrent types of slotted rotors now, back and front with the stock size.
