Why yes that's the Brentwood area and yes mk2/3. Shot it vertical because it was the only way the tablet would not move. 326 springs installed but can't seem to drop rear fender lower than 24" rides great tho in the rear not maxed out. Softer ride maxed with less spring clap but I don't think there is a way to get rid of it but it doesn't bother me. Maxed out on the springs that came with it is about the same height with 326 springs maxed out at the top but I believe the rear axle assembly can only go but so far up into the body

It's cool tried a couple more setups with the 326 springs today. Finally settled on just the spring and no bump stop about an inch clearance between the bump stop and top hat. No touching yet but does soak up more bumps but still lots of spring clap. Drop another inch. Must find rear struts with shorter tube or more threads

the clapping is when the spring is not compressed and you are resting the the bump stop, did you install the extra washer before the mount? You need a MK1 rear for your height. Dropping the rear fender well below 24" is directly related to your wheel and tire choice as well. But with a mk1 coil over you would be able to get down further, much further. But you couldn't get anywhere near stock.

Well the rubber boot on the inside of the spring is compressed so I think that may be part of the problem. I don't have a bump stop the 326 springs are amazing, so smooth and really soaks up more of the bumps in the rear. Haven't bottom out once doing 70 through bridge transitions, but I never drive like that. That was a notorious lane I know on 440 that always sucks but I ride the slow lane all day. Yes I did install a washer you can say to get to the bolts easier with a socket and two different extensions. I will adjust the boot and work on the mounts because that's 2 inches there.

Love the research you have done to get coilovers working well. You should be commended. Of course you should add your pictures when you get done. The Aveo is not a plug and play car and your doing the badly needed tuning.

iCloud is being stupid but I'm working on it. I have my front clip off so cut clearance for the wheels. I love going to tuning shops and puzzling them

Thanks it was a custom job. I used a honda civic lip from the 90s. I went through the process of glue/rivet/bondo on one my threads there. One of the problems I had with the lip and the low front, I was constantly hitting my front lip, so now I have to repair/patch/paint the lip.
