i could have put it lower but being 6'1 i always had to bend down to reach it, this way it's just the right height to rest my hand on it

Nope, I usually keep a car charger plugged in there. The joys of buying a used car, I didn't get a cigarette lighter with it.

but there's also another 12V plug beside the e-brake handle

Yea the other 12v socket has the cover on it. I usually just plug my phone into the lighter socket. Now it's sitting empty because my charger took a crap on me.

i usually use this one for my charger since it's out of the way and somewhat hidden, in casae i forget my phone in the car
