      Shift Knob

So I'm possibly looking to change out the shift knob I have in my car with something different then what I have stock. I just don't know where to begin or where to look. Does anyone have any idea's of what might be a place to start?

Do you have an automatic or a standard trans?

I have an automatic and I'm thinking of this one: http://tinyurl.com/5ht3hj

The automatic tranny is gated- you don't need a shifter with the shifter lock button. I don't think the OD button is compatible with the tranny gear lock function... So in terms of an automatic knob, you can just about use anything.

The manual is a bit more limited, because it has the "euro" shift pattern (reverse to the left of 1st instead of below 5th) which means you need a knob compatible with the lifting lockout ring. If you do a search for euro shift knobs, you should be able to find a few.

and euro shift knobs are usually a lil more expensive from my experience.

      Re: Shift Knob

I am using a set of MOMO knob which cost me abt $110 US dollar. Just plug and play, no modification needed. The short shifter is also available in my country abt $150 US I think.

      Re: Shift Knob

I have a standard transmission and want to find a new shift knob to put in there for the reverse lockout feature.
