      i think it is so that it knows if the park brake is on/off and u have to push the brake and apply the park brake to activate the video playback.

      got unit in yesterday! installed it into mounting kit, waiting for weather to install into car.

      omg-when u get it in TAKE SOME PICS!!!!

      and as for ur installation prob, (the brake wire thing) if u cant honestly figure it out just go to a customs shop and they can probably help at little to no charge. they can at least show u and lead u in the right direction. honestly, i have hooked up cd players before but i have never heard of what u are talking about lol.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      you do have to have the parking brake and the pedal brake hooked up to the unit, when i got my unit the harness was missing a pin and wire for the pedal brake, they had to ship me one.

      i will get some more pics, i still have to adjust the mounting so that i dont have the install kit in further than the dash itself if u noticed in the pics, i also am waiting on the usb unit to hook up to it. Hoping for gps also once christmas rolls my way.
