      DVD Head Unit - Help?

Does anyone know what the easiest way to hook up the parking brake and foot pedal brake leads and where they are easily located for a dvd headunit with the safety thing?

need to hook up Alpine IVA-W205 DVD Receiver in my 2007 Aveo LS Sedan, i have the install kit and harness.

found this review vid of the unit in an aveo:

      will do

ya it shipped out today, i should get it installed over the weekend if the weather is good and i can find those brake leads, I will be sure to post some pics. this new unit should be way cooler than the pioneer 6900ub i had and i will still be able to use the 250gig usb drive in the glove box.

I have a 7" panasonic in my 07 sedan, and i didn't do the parking break safety stuff. you don't really need to- it's just what you are "supposed" to do. mine still works fine- no problems. you just have to ground the parking break wire so it thinks it is hooked up. if you need any more info- just ask. my honey has it down to an art....

um what about the wire that is supposed to go to the pedal brake lead?
or just leave it unhooked and ground the parking brake wire?

the manual has them listed as this:

      Parking Brake Lead (Yellow/Blue)
Connect this lead to the power supply side of the parking
brake switch to transmit the parking brake status signals to
      the IVA-W205.

      Foot Brake Lead (Yellow/Black)
Connect to the vehicle’s foot brake lead or brake lamp lead.
