      Good idea for my Jeep.

BUT, I like the rinky little horns we have.
      Sounds like the Road Runner.

i finally got around and changed my horn too

i use the horn of a 1999 dodge caravan

i got it for free because someone abandonned the van at my shop so i helped myself before calling a tow truck for salvage removal

      Revived.

I got annoyed one day at our little stock horn. So out of boredom, and the fact that I had it laying around from an 80's ranger I used to have, I installed a 12v "oogah" horn. I definitely get peoples attention now. It's also fun to tap the horn in parking lots and see how many people jump. I know this sounds kinda dumb, but it actually seems to work well with our little cars. I would not have installed it but for my dad suggesting it. I'm happy with the results.

NOTE: It's the best thing I have found to move animals from my path as well.

This doesn't seem like a bad alternative to a train horn right here... http://www.harborfreight.com/bad-boy-ai ... 94117.html

If you guys want a really loud horn, I recommend HELLA horns. 120 Decibels, and they WORK.

      http://www.rallylights.com/detail.aspx?ID=938

Got them on both the girlfriend's car and my own.

Plenty of videos on Youtube to hear what they sound like, too.
