      My First Project....Bi-Xenon Projector Retrofit

Hey guys, I have decided to do my first project which will be Bi-Xenon projector retrofitting for much better light.

I have 2 Philips Halogen bulbs now that get me better lighting than the stock one's, they are a bit bluish but looks good anyway..

So, I am thinking of ordering this projector : http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=237

      it contains this stuff :

      Morimoto Mini D2S Bi-xenon projectors
      Morimoto 3Five Ballasts
      Morimoto 3Five D2S Bulbs
Your choice of shrouds/bezels (same as above)
9003/H4 Bi-xenon relay wire harness (plug n play)

I am still not sure which shroud will look good, I think its one of either the E55 or the Ocular

let me know guys if anyone have done it before, I need to see some pics

I will update with pics once i start to work on it

I was looking at the same exact retrofit kit. They're saying it is (the D2S bulb) virtually "plug-and-play" for the H4 socket (no cutting/modifying original housing)

I have got the same version of the mini d2s (i got the MH1) and they fit perfectly without any mods to the headlight at all. I hear the d2s just has a larger screw portion making it just small enough to fit in the H4 hole and the MH1 is even smaller and has alot of room to work with as far as the size of the hole and the size of the projector. As long as you already have a HID kit those kits is all you need unless your kit (most kits do) has AMP connectors then you will also need an AMP to D2S harness. These both are great projectors ut if you really want to light the road up get some FX-R or TLs....I have the fx-r now after using the MH1 and the fx-r are awsome. Iam also selling me mh1 if your intersted http://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f98/b...rs-sale-11494/ like I said either option is great and you cant go wrong buying from theretrofitsource.........great customer service.
