      Pontiac G3 rear conversion

So someone in my work complex drives a Pontiac G3. And today for the first time we were parked next to each other. Then as we walked to lunch we were looking at them both. And came to the conclusion that the back ends are interchangeable. The hatch lines and bumper lines match up. I would simply need to replace the taillights and rear bumper. I know for a fact the G5 and Cobalt rear ends could be fully interchanged. Thoughts on this? The G3 looks slightly better.

well now after doing more research, it seems they make aveo's from the 09 year of the g3 that might also work for this conversion

even more research, the 09 aveo and 09 g3 are exactly the same, just different badging. But literally the same trunk and tails and bumper.

Something of a revival. I have wondered at replacing my 08's rear hatch, bumper, and lights with those from a 2010 model aveo. Never had the opportunity to sit down and look at all of it, but to me it could be a fun mod.

I will think of a better signature later.
