Hi hows everyone doing? My name is CJ and im new to the forum, i own a 07 aveo5 and was hoping so one could help with info, just recently my aveo was involved in a hit and run, someone rear ended a car and tried getting away and backed into me so my front is pretty damaged, but now i have a reason to change the front end to a kalos, does anybody have any information on how to get the conversion kit?
Online, and it will not be cheap. I would not even spend the time on it. You could either make the repairs, change over to the 2nd gen aveo hatch or add a razzi kit or something if that is what you would want, but a Kalos conversion will cost $1000+ just for parts and shipping would be a conservative estimate.

Actually, xaio may be the only easy source, have not seen any kalos pieces on eBay in several years, http://www.aveoforum.com/forum/f83/l...adlights-9705/ where xaio talks about getting the parts (the thread is very old, the same prices may run $1600-1700+ with shipping, if he can still get a hold of anything now). You can dig through google, but there are really no websites that offer what you are looking for, or any custom/aftermarket parts for that matter. I would just contact Xaio and see what happens, he can be difficult find at times when he works in Malaysia.

He has made a ton of custom parts for the Aveo, and is the best source for custom parts I think. I bought a pair of headers from him over the past 2-3 years, very good seller. Shipping is expensive though, and the US dollar is getting weaker so his prices continue to increase slowly unfortunately. He would be your best bet for anything Kalos most likely, but the price is going to be high compared to other mods and such that can be done.

How can I get a hold of xaio?
You can PM on here or mail him on eBay, I do not think he is selling anything on there though, he can be very hard to get a hold of, have not seen him on here in a while.
