      Upgraded Internals?

      Has anyone done it yet? As soon as I hit 45k I will be upgrading my internals...thoughts, ideas,....let em flow...

      To get the optimal performance shouldn't the internals be upgraded also???

      Depends. I know of a few VW mk3 VR6 turbos running stock internals and pushing 500hp, reliably.
      Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

      Those aren't any lighter than stock and are only good to about 15psi.

      Plus the crank won't take much over that...





      But if you really felt compelled you could do it

      Unless you're going to boost high though, there isn't a need to. You could gain better power, cheaper, with a new flywheel and higher compression through X16XE pistons and a head shave
