      They finished my car today. As this was a first for them, Vickar Mitsubishi and Lakeside Performance of Winnipeg, it was a bit tricky. Mine took about 7 hours in total but they are sure 2-4 hours will do it now that they have done one.
      They had the rear engine mount out, battery and even pulled the pan off the trans to check the gear alignment. Can't ask for a better job than that. And it works fantastic. Very crisp and sharp shifting. In fact coming to a stop I actually downshifted from second to first without the clutch. Just kind of had a mind meltdown but it slipped right in. And high speed downshifts from 3rd to 2nd are slick as can be.
      I would say that the linkage is worth every penny and a good mod to do.

      awesome man, glad to hear that it works fine, maybe you can post a video? so how much did it cost to get it put in? id love to have a short shifter....

      Now I have to get that part and drive down to Winnipeg to get it installed. Humm, time for a road trip?
