      If the plastic one comes apart like a clam shell - then it would be easy to polish with Klasse or another polish that makes plastic slicker. I had the throttle body completely off today to polish both ends of the throttle body. Even with the TB off, I can not tell for sure if the Plastic Intake manifold will crack open. It kind of looks like it could - but I think I will have to remove it to be sure.

      NP but you know what, i forgot that this service manual is for the 1.4, 1.5, and 1.2 engines i have yet to find some diagrams for the 1.6 motor. the body and suspension and everything else is the same though

      Oh - I appreciate this. Its handy for a lot of things on the Aveo. I may check in to buying a service manual from GM. I'll post it when I find what out what it costs.
