      project motor

heres a motor on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevy...36627576QQrdZ1 , im planning on going N/A for the aveo, i talked to some of the guys at JDM Autohause here in San Bernardino, they said some high compression pistons would run me about $550. I want to get a project motor so i can play around with it and still have my original motor which i wont touch.

Pretty sweet. I didn't realize the whole engine could be found for that cheap. Half tempted to pick up a spare someday myself . But if you're going to be yanking engines out anyway, it'd be interesting to find out if you could find a 1.8 or 2.0 to bolt in there instead. Let us know if you jump on it!

well if your gonna do that just find an aveo motor with a blown head and find a lanos motor with a cracked block or something along that line so you can run the aluminum intake manifold
