yeah what xstevex said...they are the same.
and just to let you know gse is on daewootech. lol

Garrett...if you can't find a swap volunteer in SoCo, Maybe I could convince the wifey to allow me to do it...I'm not too far away from you.

And I'm up for helping design parts...I love doing it!

I'd sell you my engine with less than 4k miles on it for $700 if you needed a U20SED.

thanks ontarian_frog for lookin' out, i'm actually one of the 'seniors' or 'experts' from daewootech...

well raven, i just migh thave to take you up on that offer and $700 for kinkys motor is a killer deal.

i'd like to do a 2.0 or 2.2 swap in an Aveo but i'm also interested indoing things for the 1.6. for example one of the setbacks with the Optra, Forenza, Reno... is that the AC and PS is vital part of the accessories belt system and until the kit i'm working on you could remove either. is this the case for the 1.6?

i'm sure this has been covered in a group buy or something (if so i'm sorry for reposting) but in the interest of time...
what parts are you guys looking for? be-it steel brackets and flanges... or fiberglass or carbon pieces? no minimum orders or group buys would be needed, but i would need a car to test parts on.

what about the intake manifold what would you like to see available and what are the setbacks you guys have come across?

I belive that the A/C compressor is easily added or removed from the accessory belt setup (just a different belt, I think). Not quite sure about the PS pump.

In either case, it would probably be best to retain the PS pump and not cap off the rack. Last time I removed the PS without a non-PS rack, I ended up stripping the steering gear.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
