Oh so the 1.4 turbo IS getting a manual! YES! *jumps around excitedly* I dunno why I just did that.

Anyways, Company's think that only enthusiasts buy manual transmission in America, and for the most part, that's true, so there is an element of truth in their belief, but to downright say that NO ONE wants wants a manual in the US is blasphemy.

Tnks for the correction, but thats even less power, so how much stronger is this tranny? Another thing is how u drive, the stock tranny driven without dragging should be able to handle a lot more than the stock 103hp, I mean using linear aceleration. But drag that hell out of a tranny twice as strong and I garagtie it will blow, hell I see guys with the stock 9inch rear have no problems with bigger engines than guys with a full comp rear/smaller engines and blow them cose they have no clue how to freaking launch.

No offense but some of you really need to read whats posted here instead of asking silly questions...

Read my 1st post.. you will notice this info comes from Daewootech, where there are guys like Chris (PrecicionBoost) that know everything there is possibly to be known about daewoos/opel/vauxhall, he also mentions he already imported an M32 some time ago and he says that its a very strong gearbox, quite possibly stronger then the 6 speed F28.

The M32 must have been used in cars that are way faster then the cruze, hence why its probably stronger. The M32 isnt a new gearbox, its been used overseas for years...

i have that feeling a lot..

also generally speaking the F & M series transmissions generally seem to be rated "the higher the number" the more power it can handle.. this is if you look at the engine configurations.. and how the numbers match up to engine sizes and hp..

no your about 2 letters off.

but all you new guys, there is seriously years of information here, people have researched and answered most of the questions you have had. A lot of the newer people have their own opinions and different experiences, and if you want/feel you need to justify all the sources and post it yourself feel free, but a lot of the older members are starting to answer the same questions over and over...

and lets get back on topic.. this is about the 6 speed fitting our cars..

Copy that, I understand it can be frustating to have to answer the same question over and over, I got kids... when I have a question/post I usually try a 'adanced search' to see if it has been on the forum before.
I've being trying to catch up with all the imfo here but it will take a while to...
