      intae problem

i just installed a cold air intake.
worked perfectly, don't have a hole for the iat sensor though, but problem is.
      since i put it in.

it ran fine, then my 'hold' light began flashing and engine light came on.

      please please please help.

get it scanned some place. since you dont have the IAT sensor installed that's probably the problem

      Its sensing poop.

Please install your IATS. a drill, a dremel, and a coupler will solve your problems.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      Re: intae problem

I plan on installing the sensor.
I was just goofing off to see if it made any small difference compared to the stock intake.

      Strangely, it's a big difference.
But I took off the CAI pipe and put my black stock hose back on, so that sensor would stay in.
Slapped my giant filter on the stock tube after some coaxing, the flashing hold light went off, engine light stayed on all night.
Until literally within 15 minutes ago, I started my car up and it seemed to like itself again.

Back fire with stock exhaust? For a long time I used a nissan sensor in replace of mine and left it hanging in my air box, I just put the right one in correctly about a month ago. It didn't really change anything but I wanted everything to be right.
