Power locks on 2009 Aveo5 LT

So I have power locks on my car, right? Well I find it very annoying that I have to reach over to my lock to lock/unlock all the doors. Why does my driver lock control all door locks? And can I install a lock/unlock switch in the car instead of pulling/pushing the actual lock? Thanks in advance...

Yeah, it was one of the features my salesperson pointed out to me and i thought it was a little odd but i think it was probably some cost cutting idea to not have the lock button installed.

It is kind of a cool concept to have one for all but it can get to be annoying real easily. Oh well. I guess beggars can't be choosers.

No, I do. I guess I am just picky. Aveo is the only car I've seen with this locking system.
