      painting rims + wing questions!

I have an 04 LS aveo.

I am getting to fixing it up, and my dad surprised me with some plastidip paint. 4 cans of it. I was talking about blacking the rims out and whatnot.

How does one properly go about painting their rims? If it helps, I have Kosei racing rims on it, Name: IMG_11556194783905.jpeg

Also, how would one Remove the wing from the hatch? I didn't notice many bolts or anything distinguishing a removal.

pull rim off the car, wash your rims, be sure they are dry and free of water droplets ( if that's even a word) put index cards between the rim and the tire by wedging them in, then spray the hell out of each rim- I do at least 6 light coats. If u are cheap on the coverage it wont peel off right and u will be scrubbing it off with goo b gone or goof off, I also wrap the valve stem with masking tape. I love this stuff because it is reversible, I even plan on spraying my new rims just to protect the new shiny lip. Hope this helps

I would paint your brake hub while your are at it too. That would make it look nice.

Advice: use about a can per wheel. If u do not get a thick enough coverage it will not peel off. U will be scrubbing ur ass off with good offs.and a sponge
