      painting wheels

      i want to take the hubcaps off and paint the wheel a glossy black then install yellow lugnuts to match the mudflaps. do you guys think it will look good? any other suggeustions??

      worth a shot. Ive painted my wheels so many times I forgot what color they were. Its just paint it can always be redone.

      I did this with my steelies. Looks way better IMO. I even did a quick write up on it.

      Short of telling you to buy a set of konig daylights instead... (match the look your going for) I would try adding a yellow pinstripe to the wheel. ALSO, find a good top coat/ clear coat to put on top to the black paint to be able to scrub them, not let the finish dull. Out of a spray can is still better than nothing.
