Side lights not reacting to turning steering wheel

      Hi,

When I got the car, I realised that the side lights were not reacting to turns. After each turn, though there will be the click sound, the side lights just would not be resetted. Btw, the steering wheel is an aftermarket product.

      What's happening??

if it is an aftermarket wheel, the hub adapter might not have the cancels built in like the start hub. It typically works like a cam switch..

Without tearing it apart and comparing the hub differences, i can only make recommendations.

If it works the way I imagine, and the hub is "properly" size to accommodate it, you could attach or weld a tab or and ear to the aftermarket hub to hit the switch. This would require knowing the geometry, as well as materials.
