      Steering wheel clips

Okay, So I managed to pull off the silver/gray clips on the steering wheel. I painted them black to match the rest of the interior I painted but now I can't get them back in and I'm just wondering if its okay to pull off the front of the steering wheel. I have a 2004 Aveo LS if that info is helpful.

      Thanks in advance

      -Cory

to put them back on, just use 3m double sided tape fond at your friendly walmart.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

I don't think that will help them clip back in.

I guess a better question would be

Can I pull the air bag cover off of the steering wheel without having anything to worry about?

      Thanks for your response.

Remove the negative battery cable before messing with the airbag.

Always keep the airbag facing away from you whenever possible.

Always place the airbag business end up once removed, as to not create a projectile if it L

Place the airbag outside of the vehicle until you are ready to reinstall it.

Won't be able to "pull" it off, but it will unbolt.

Like said above, make sure the negative battery cable is disconnected and you'll be fine...
